Laleham is the village just downstream of Staines, and it shares the workshop's TW18 postcode — which makes it about as close to home ground as this list gets.
Because the workshop is in the same postcode, a visit here is usually a matter of minutes rather than an appointment days away, and collection can often be arranged the same day. Anything that needs the bench goes back to Staines and comes home once it is finished.
Plots in the village run long, and a good number now have something at the far end that needs a connection — a garden office, a converted outbuilding, a workshop, a camera on the gate. A router sitting in the front room was never going to cover that.
